Advanced Skills in Disaster Family Assistance |
| Description |
This course will explore the unique set of leadership skills required to successfully
manage the family assistance process within the chaotic post-disaster
environment. Participants will be provided with decision-making tools, crisis communication strategies, and methods for deploying resources to families.
The program will offer
practical solutions for the challenging aspects of managing large-scale
fatality events while coordinating available resources with industry,
federal, state and local agencies.

policy, or have a family assistance role during transportation disasters

transportation disaster response role
- Members of the academic community attending for research purposes (on a space-available basis)
