On June 1, 2003 at approximately 1426 local time, a Learjet 45, registration number I-ERJC, operated by Eurojet Italia, crashed shortly after take-off from Milano Linate Airport in Milan, Italy. The airplane reportedly struck a flock of birds shortly after takeoff and crashed into an industrial building while attempting to return to airport. The 2 crew members aboard received fatal injuries. The investigation is being conducted by the Agenzia Nazionale per la Sicurezza del Volo (ANSV).
