Passenger Car Loss of Control and Collision with Medium-Size Bus

What Happened

We investigated the passenger car loss of control and collision with a medium-sized bus that happened on 7/25/2019 in SeaTac, WA.

What We Found

This investigation was initiated in support of the NTSB's ongoing concerns with medium-size bus crashes that result in passenger ejection and/or fatality, and our particular concern with the availability of passenger lap-shoulder and lap-only restraints and whether passengers wear available restraints. While a final report for the investigation was not developed, the information from items in the investigation docket may be used to support safety issues identified in future medium-size bus investigations, reports, or other mission-related activities.
