 MEDIA ADVISORY: NTSB to Unveil 2019 – 2020 Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements

WASHINGTON (Jan. 30, 2019) — The National Transportation Safety Board is scheduled to unveil its 2019 – 2020 Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements during a kickoff event at the National Press Club, Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, 10 a.m. (EST).

The event will start with opening remarks from NTSB Chairman Robert Sumwalt who will then announce the Most Wanted List. The Chairman will join NTSB Vice Chairman Bruce Landsberg, and Board Members Earl Weener and Jennifer Homendy for a moderated panel discussion about the items on the Most Wanted List and associated safety recommendations. A question and answer session will follow the panel discussion.

Unveiling of the NTSB’s 2019 – 2020 Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements.

WHERE: 
National Press Club, Holeman Lounge, 529 14th St. NW,  (13th floor) Washington. The event will be live streamed to the NTSB YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-BYsAOHADE.

WHEN: 
Feb. 4, 2019, 10 a.m. (EST).  Media covering the event are asked to be in place no later than 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event.

HOW: 
The National Press Club is a secure venue and attendees will need a QR code to gain access.  Media planning to cover the event at the National Press Club should RSVP at mprmailinglist@ntsb.gov. The NTSB media relations staff will in turn provide those who RSVP with the QR code.
