NTSB opens Docket on East Harlem, N.Y. Building Explosion

As part of its continuing investigation into the gas explosion in East Harlem last year, the National Transportation Safety Board today will open the accident docket, releasing about 3,000 pages of documents.

On March 12, 2014, a gas explosion destroyed two buildings in the East Harlem section of New York City.

The docket material is available at http://dms.ntsb.gov/pubdms/search/hitlist.cfm?docketID=57111

Additional material may be added to the docket as it becomes available. Analysis of the accident, along with a determination of probable cause, will come later, when the final report on the investigation is completed in about three months.
