NTSB’s mission is to make transportation safe for everyone. That’s why we promote not only efforts to achieve a safe built environment for all, but also efforts to expand safety outreach and messaging to all—especially those communities with elevated rates of poor safety outcomes.
And as the nation becomes increasingly diverse, safety equity becomes even more important. NTSB has worked to give leaders who authentically engage diverse communities a platform to share the lessons that they have learned and the practices that work.
