UPDATE: In light of travel restrictions for attendees and cancellation of the adjacent industry meetings, the NTSB Roundtable: Pipeline Safety Management Systems scheduled for Monday, March 9 has been POSTPONED.
On March 9, 2020, the National Transportation Safety Board will host a roundtable discussion on “Pipeline Safety Management Systems.” Ensure the Safe Shipment of Hazardous Materials is an issue on the NTSB’s Most Wanted List. Board Member Jennifer Homendy will host a conversation with pipeline operators, safety professionals, and other government officials about the importance of safety management systems in ensuring safe pipeline operations and the movement of HAZMAT.
