Attending EAA AirVenture?
Between July 25 - July 31, NTSB staff and Board Members will be presenting at
Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2022 to discuss how to “fly like a pro.”
We will share strategies for achieving the highest level of safety when flying and share lessons learned from accident investigations. Professionalism is a mindset that includes a vigilant adherence to procedures and a desire to constantly improve proficiency, knowledge, and decision making. A professional stays focused on making the right decisions for the right reasons. They do the right thing, even when no one is watching. During the conference, attendees can learn what to do to be a pro—and what not to do—from the pros!

Why EAA AirVenture?
EAA AirVenture is the world’s largest gathering of aviation enthusiasts—including pilots and operators. Improving general aviation safety is one of NTSB’s focus areas. We investigate hundreds of GA accidents each year and issue numerous recommendations that could save lives and prevent injuries.
