Between July 24 - July 29, NTSB staff and Chair Jennifer Homendy will be presenting at
Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 to discuss how to “fly like a pro.”
We will share strategies for achieving the highest level of safety when flying and share lessons learned from accident investigations. Professionalism is a mindset that includes a vigilant adherence to procedures and a desire to constantly improve proficiency, knowledge, and decision making. A professional stays focused on making the right decisions for the right reasons. They do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Throughout the event, attendees can visit the NTSB exhibit in the International Federal Pavilion to learn what to do to be a pro—and what not to do—from the pros!
