The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the head-on collision between two freight trains near Roswell, New Mexico on April 28, 2015.

NTSB investigator Ted Turpin led the team as investigator-in-charge. NTSB Board Member Earl Weener accompanied the team to serve as the principal spokesman during the on-scene phase of the investigation.
