The National Transportation Safety Board met to determine the probable cause of the Aug. 14, 2013, crash of UPS Airlines Flight 1354 on approach to Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport in Birmingham, Ala. The Airbus A300-600 crashed short of runway 18 during a localizer non-precision approach. The captain and first officer were fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed.
