The 2005, DUCK 6 amphibious passenger vehicle was traveling north on the Washington State Route 99 Sept. 24, 2015, at about 11:11 a.m. PDT, when it crossed the center line into the southbound lanes of oncoming traffic and struck a motorcoach, killing five motorcoach passengers and injuring others on both vehicles. Three other vehicles were damaged during the crash event.
