​The National Transportation Safety Board met to determine the probable cause of the fatal 2016 Lockhart, Texas, hot-air balloon crash.

During the board meeting, the NTSB will determine the probable cause for the accident and issue any safety recommendations to prevent future accidents. A synopsis of the facts and board staff analysis will also be released following the board meeting. The full report on the accident will be published several weeks later.
