Washington - In its continuing investigation of a 2000 Setra motorcoach, that crashed while traveling northbound on Interstate 95 (I-95) near Doswell, Virginia, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has opened the public docket.
About 4:55 am EDT on May 31, 2011, the motorcoach, operated by Sky Express Incorporated, was traveling northbound on I-95 in the vicinity of milepost 103 in Caroline County, Virginia, when it departed the right side of the highway and rolled over. As a result of the accident, four passengers were fatally injured and 49 plus the driver sustained serious or minor injuries.
The information being released is factual in nature and does not provide any analysis. The docket includes: interview summaries, factual investigative reports, 67 photographs, and other documents. The docket material is currently available here.
