Agenda for Multimodal Roundtable on Distractions in Transportation Now Available

The National Transportation Safety Board has released the final agenda for Tuesday’s multimodal roundtable, “Disconnect from Deadly Distractions.”  This year, disconnecting from deadly distractions was added to the NTSB Most Wanted List of Safety Improvements.

The one-day event will begin at 9:00 a.m. on March 31, 2015, in the NTSB Board Room and Conference Center in Washington. NTSB Board Member Robert Sumwalt will moderate the participant-driven discussion.

The roundtable will examine the problem of distraction throughout all modes of transportation in an effort to find solutions.  Modal experts, researchers, advocates, educators, industry, and others will share knowledge and experiences in their disciplines, and discuss innovative solutions aimed at reducing deaths and injuries due to distraction.
