WASHINGTON – National Transportation Safety Board Vice Chairman Bella Dinh-Zarr will be speaking at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference, on July 8. The conference, held from July 5–9, will bring more than 5,000 of its student leaders, members, and advisers to Washington.
Vice Chairman Dinh-Zarr will address teen leaders from across the U.S. about how transportation safety is a public health issue. The theme of this year’s conference is “Together We Are Healthy,” and conference sessions will focus on a healthy mind, body, and spirit. A highlight of the conference will be a youth rally celebrating the organization’s 70th anniversary and advocating for strong family and consumer sciences education in schools.
