Biography
J. Todd Inman took the oath of office as the 48th Member of the National Transportation Safety Board on March 13, 2024.
J. Todd Inman has served as Senior Director, Office of the Executive Chairman, for APCO Worldwide since July 2022. Prior to that, he served as Secretary, Department of Management Services for the State of Florida, and held positions as Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Director of Operations for Secretary Chao at the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Inman also worked as an Independent Contractor Agent, Property and Casualty Agency at State Farm Insurance Companies, Claims Superintendent and Claims Specialist for State Farm Fire and Casualty Claims, and served in the Special Investigative Unit for State Farm Mutal Automobile Insurance. He was also an instructor for the National Fire Academy regional delivery program of arson detection for first responders. Inman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi. He is a native of Kentucky and currently lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife, Ann.
